Education Committee
This is a sub-committee of the PCC and focuses on the teaching role of the church. For children this includes overseeing the work of our Junior Church, which meets during the main service on Sunday mornings (see separate leaflet on activities for children and young people). For children and adults it oversees preparation for First Communion, Confirmation and Christian nurture. The committee also assists in the planning and development of study groups, home groups and training courses, and our Parish Weekend, a residential away weekend which is held every other year.
