ST. MICHAEL'S EVENTS
Sunday Rotas – The rota for the next quarter was distributed last week. If you are scheduled to complete a reading or prayers, the applicable reading sheet(s) is in your pigeonhole. If you have not received a copy of the new rota, see the link above to download a copy. Please contact Katharine Stanley in the Parish Office with any questions or rota changes.
Lent – Our series of Lent Talks and Lunches continue this Thursday at 12:30pm. Each week a hymn will be used as a guide to thinking and meditation. We also continue to follow the Diocesan Lent Challenge, prepared by our three bishops: a study and reflection on the Lenten Sunday Gospels. For anyone who is not in a Home Group but wishes to participate in this evening programme, the sessions continue each Wednesday at 8:00pm in the Lady Chapel, led by the Vicar.
Make a Mother’s Day – A chance to purchase an ethical gift for your mother or in memory of your mother and by doing so help another mother in great need. All are welcome to take a catalogue at the back of the church. Orders must be placed by 7th March.
Come & Sing Evensong - next Sunday, 14th March - We will rehearse the music from 4:30pm, break for tea at 5:30pm and sing the service at 6:00pm. Do join us!
Aqua Box – Thanks to all who have offered to donate to our box.
A Cow for Africa – Further to my article in the March magazine regarding plastic milk bottle tops, I would like to clarify that ALL COLOURS are acceptable (not only the green ones). Many thanks, Doreen Oakley.
