Families Minister

In our modern world, children, young people and their families are under so much pressure that we feel the need for faith has never been greater.  At St Michael’s we realise that and are looking for the right person who as Families Minister can help us fulfil our mission.

Are you that person?

  • Do you want to be part of our plans to build a more vibrant all-age church where families and their children are welcomed, nurtured and encouraged to know Jesus?
  • Would you be able like to lead and inspire our existing talented team to plan and deliver new activities involving children, young people and their families?
  • Do you love working with children and young people?
  • Do you have the skills and approach to build strong relationships with young families, forge effective links with local schools and those beyond the normal ‘Christian Community’?

The details:
This is a 5 year fixed term contract.
This could be either a full time or part time post – depending on the circumstances of the applicant.
Salary would be £25,000 per annum (pro rata), although this might be negotiable.
The start date for the successful candidate is also open to negotiation.
